Elaine approached me around 7 years ago on my daughter - page via social media, my daughter Winnie who is Down syndrome with many medical problems, was diagnosed with Aml leukaemia cancer in 2012. Winnie was so weak & frail, she couldn't lift her tiny head off the hospital pillow. I opened Elaine's message, I started to read the kind words she wrote, with tears falling, I felt so much support, love from Elaine, she had offered me a hand to hold. Elaine is a very inspirational lady.
Over the years, Elaine has been very motivated to do her best, succeed in ensuring she has strong foundations laid down. So she can continue to create the best in all she does, charity work, music, acting. She has helped me at a very challenging time in our lives and her support has never stopped. This lady is dedicated.
With everything she does, Elaine is a woman who has the skills acquired through being a woman, a mother and a grandmother that has completely transferable to her working life including being naturally adaptable, sensitive and able to overseas multiple projects at once. I feel privileged to be part of this incredible woman's life. Elaine is a very caring, kind, resourceful, hardworking and creative woman. Elaine is a perfect example of Girl Power.
The inspiration that Elaine gives should be celebrated all year round.,but it's important to have a day to acknowledge just how far this lady has come and the.wonderful changes she has been able to make through her sheer tenacity and focus. Elaine's passion is absolutely crucial, in my view this is Elaine's way of life rather than a career choice.
